What IDs does Hidden Valley festival accept?
‍By LAW, the ONLY forms of ID we can accept at Hidden Valley Festival Check-in are

A valid and current NZ Photo Drivers’ License
A valid and current NZ or overseas Passport

Please note the following IDs are NOT accepted: overseas IDs, expired IDs, student IDs, credit cards, birth certificates, library cards, and gun licenses. If you're from overseas, make sure to bring your passport.

Here's our advice:

If your ID is very old and the photo is barely visible, or if you've completely changed your look, you must bring a secondary photo ID.
Don’t rely on a new driver’s license unless you're certain it will be ready before the event.
If you've lost your only form of photo ID right before Hidden Valley Festival, unfortunately, that's a problem we can't solve.

All photo ID matters are legal issues, so there's no flexibility. Please don't waste your time asking us to accept a photo of your ID or any other unofficial form of identification.
